  • BA in English/Speech/Theatre from University of Northern Iowa
  • MA in Effective Leadership, Teaching, and Learning from Drake University
  • Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence in Language Arts

I love teaching because every day is new and challenging and most important  -  a lot of fun! I like a classroom where everyone feels comfortable, where laughter is heard, and where you never know for sure what might happen!!!

Tierney, Mariana, and Miranda

I am very proud to be a Nana to my three girls: Tierney is 17 months, Mariana is 8 and they are sisters. Miranda is 14 months. Both families traveled to Charleston where we all spent a fun-filled week at the beach and exploring historic Charleston. Every year we rent a house and vacation on a SC beach. We love the SOUTH!!!

Mariana and I spend a lot of time together when we can. She lives in Milwaukee and loves sports, dancing, playing on her IPAD, listening to her IPOD, etc.

Papa (my husband) and I travel to WI to watch her play soccer, basketball, run cross country, and perform dance. She has a fun personality and is very helpful at home.
